La Notte

La Notte è una riflessione sulla ciclicità della vita. La nascita e la morte si intrecciano; il soggetto della scultura è una donna/creatura in bilico tra la il suo ultimo respiro e la sua rinascita. La donna sta abbandonando la sua forma umana, la sua pelle si deforma, si scioglie. Effettivamente, si sta evolvendo verso una forma superiore. In un momento di oscurità, durante la grande, lunga notte, ha affrontato le sue paure più profonde. Ne è uscita vincitrice; dopo aver completato un processo di fusione tra la propria consapevolezza e l’inconscio, la donna ha raggiunto l’autorealizzazione.

La Notte is a reflection on the cyclical nature of life. Birth and death are intertwined; the subject of the sculpture is a woman/creature oscillating between her dying breath and her rebirth. The woman is shedding her human shape, her skin is deforming, it is melting. Indeed, she is evolving into a higher form. During a moment of darkness during the great, long night, she faced her deepest fears. She emerged victorious; after completing a process of fusion between her consciousness and unconsciousness, the woman has achieved self-realization.
