The Lovers rappresenta due identità che si mescolano, annientandosi. Per tale motivo, le teste sono prive di volti. La faccia viene scavata e trasformata in un buco nero che risucchia l’energia dall’amante. Questo flusso energetico è costante. Gli amanti sono dipendenti l’uno dall’altra.
Eliminando la loro individualità, gli amanti diventano un unico organismo diviso in due parti concatenate. Quindi, rappresentano due identità parassite complementari.
